I have suffered with IBS for a number of years over 10 years. Last year I began feeling like I was having a flare up but this last months and I was becoming increasingly ill. I was fainting after eating or exercising but there was no pattern. I went to my GP who I felt was reluctant to refer me and gave me stronger IBS medication. This didn't work and my symptoms continued and became worse. I was due to get married March 2014 so this was worrying. I pushed to be referred and I had an endoscopy which showed I had H. pylori of which I received triple therapy for. This course finished and my symptoms within days returned, I felt helpless as it was affecting my work and impacting massively on me. I returned to my doctor but was met with a frosty response basically making me feel like it was in my head. I went privately due to this and this was where I met Dr Ram. At no pint did I feel he was rushing me out if the door, he listened to everything I had to say and went back 10 years to the start of my problems. I questioned my GP's response and it was established that some people do need a second course so Dr Ram wrote a letter to this effect. A second course was prescribed and I felt so much better. I had a MRI scan on my small intestine and I felt as though it was being looked into professionally. I felt immediately at ease with Dr Ram who had a fantastic bedside manner and makes you feel like he is listening and he certainly knows his stuff. A very clever man and someone who I thank massively as I was well on my wedding day due to his help. I was also referred back through the NHS under his clinic, in my opinion he could have kept me as a private patient as I would have paid but he never and I appreciated his greatly. Can't recommend Dr Ram highly enough. Thank you. Carly x
