Dr Taylor has been looking after my care for the last twenty years, after I was first diagnosed with HIV in March 2003. Coming as it was at the time as an incredible shock and I guess fear of the future. Over the years he has given me the utmost care, respect, with very careful consideration of my wellbeing in all aspects, physical, emotional and meantal health. When times were tough he was honest and explained any issues, difficulties and problems clearly and patiently, at all times giving me his best professional advice and guidance, but leaving me to make the final decisions. I felt completely empowered and this really helped me manage the sometimes difficult choices to be made e.g. when to move to meds, when to change them etc. As time progressed and I reached a point of stability, good health, dealing with a condition that will never go away, but with the care and advancements in medicine, knowing I have a long life ahead of me, Dr Taylor has always maintained the highest standards or care, always giving time to listen, always there to answer questions etc. I cannt honestly think of anything that could be improved in the long time I'm been his patient. I've been blessed to be under his care and at times I don't think I would even be here without him (and the whole team at Heartlands). All I can say is a huge, heartfelt, thank you.
