I went to DR Munn as a private patient and was very dissapointed by the way in which I was treated. Firtstly I was reassured that I didn't have skin cancer but the excission would go ahead as a precaution as I had noticed and photographed some month on month changes. I then find out by post 2 weeks later that I have in fact got skin cancer - this is a hard blow seeing as I was reassured I didn't have it. I return for a further excission and I'm now waiting for my results, but due to her going on holiday I am still waiting 4 weeks later - surely she is not the only doctor who can read the results!! I am paying for a private service and expect to be treated like a private patient not an NHS patient. She was too bothered about getting all of her patients done as quick as possible as she was going on holiday to notice or care about my concern for them not spotting this earlier, even after I voiced my concerns. If my results come back positive again I will not be going back to this doctor.
