After 3 months of worrying and deciding not to wait 9/12 months for an NHS referral I paid privately to have my diagnosis of PMR confirmed, and to get professional advice from an expert (rather than general advice from my GP). On 11th January 2021 I visited Dr Sophia Khan's clinic at Spires Little Aston. The welcome and the care, as well as the attention to detail and listening skills of this lady was remarkable. I was asked my symptoms, and timeline for the pain, following which the diagnosis was confirmed, my fear of GCA ruled out as I have none of the conditions traits. I felt so positive and happy when I left her surgery. I would 110% recommend this doctor to anyone who needs help with PMR or GCA.
