Prior to my initial face to face consultation with Mr Gore he contacted me via zoom to discuss my appropriateness for breast reduction and explained different surgical techniques and outcomes. This was very helpful and enabled me to understand the procedure and be fully informed prior to a face to face consultation where Mr. Gore was able to answer any questions I had. The New Foscote Hospital pre op team rang me a couple of times before admission and Mr Gore rang me on the day before the surgery which was reassuring as at this point I have to admit I was getting some pre surgery nerves. On admission the nursing staff were very welcoming and put me at ease. Mr Gore saw me early to do the pre surgical marking and I was visited by the anaesthetist. Both were very empathetic and supportive. The surgery went to plan with no complications. The overnight stay was comfortable and following a review by Mr Gore in the morning I was discharged home. I did experience some discomfort but this was managed with regular simple analgesics and a good supportive bra! Mr Gore rang me several times in the days following the surgery and I have had 3 reviews at the hospital in the seven weeks since surgery. The experience has been very positive and I am extremely happy with the result. I’m a lot more confident, happy with my body image and looking forward to an appointment to buy some new lingerie. I would fully recommend Mr Gore who has been totally professional, informative, empathetic and supportive throughout the whole experience.
