I had a septorhinoplasty under Sinclair, along with a revision. This included the removal of a section of rib cartilage in order to supplement the existing nose cartilage - in the revision surgery only. The care leading up to the surgery was excellent, and Sinclair took the time to extensively go through the operation in it's entirety - so going into the operation I was confident, and had few concerns. The principle aim of the surgery was to fix a deviated septum and external curvature, whilst maintaining the other aesthetic aspects. Unfortunately the initial surgery didn't go to plan, and the cartilage warped making the asymmetry worse than before. A little over a year later I had a revision of the surgery with Sinclair in order to attempt to fix the issue, and despite an improvement in the asymmetry it's still far from perfect. Sinclair informed me before surgery that nasal asymmetry is a very tricky procedure, and expectations should be tapered somewhat. I'm sure that the cartilage is simply non-compliant as the nose was straight after surgery, but warped during the healing process. I'll likely be going for another attempt in the future - I've invested too much to walk away with no success. Despite the objective failure the care was excellent, both before and after each surgery.
