THE DOCTOR WHO'S TREATMENT WENT BEYOND PRESCRIBING TABLETS I was 6 months away from completing my 3 year degree course when I started feeling completely overwhelmed with life. This included my studies, caring for my children and making ends meet financially. I was not eating or sleeping and I was constantly fatigued. I made an appointment to see my GP who spoke to me at length about my symptoms and then later diagnosed me with severe anxiety. Dr. Simona was very patient in explaining to me what I was experiencing, the symptoms and the causes. She prescribed some medication and gave me some coping strategies that have been very useful in managing the anxiety. Dr Simona also helped me put things into perspective and I soon discarded the silly idea of giving up my studies. Fast forward a few months later and I have passed my course exceptionally well and I am now a qualified health professional helping people get better. I would not have accomplished any of these things without Dr. Simona's help, encouragement and support and for this I am truly grateful.
