Dr Raby was my anesthetist for an elective pinnaplasty (ears pinned back) on 2nd January 2021. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He made me feel totally at ease and really took the time to explain in detail exactly what his role was for the procedure, how the local anesthetic and sedative I had opted for would be administered and any risks or side effects I might experience. I had total faith and trust in him and the team around him and am very happy with my recovery and how I am healing. Dr Raby was very personable and approachable. I felt a little nervous walking into the operating room (not something I would have seen had I elected general anesthesia) but he kept me chatting and distracted from what was around me. It took a few days to recover from the surgery and anesthesia I opted for but I am happy with the option I chose and that this was supported by Dr Raby.
