I was recently treated by Dr Raby when I underwent breast augmentation surgery at The New Foscote Hospital. I was very impressed and delighted with the entire experience. Dr Raby was very friendly, built wonderful rapport with me, and put my mind completely at ease regarding the approach that he would be taking to my general anaesthetic. He answered all of my questions confidently and thoroughly. The conversations on the morning of my surgery and in the theatre immediately prior to surgery made me feel entirely relaxed and like I was in great hands. Needless to say that everything went very smoothly; the pain was incredibly well managed and I was up and walking around within hours of waking up from surgery! I was also very impressed that Dr Raby followed up with me repeatedly following my surgery, both in post-op recovery at the hospital, and once I had returned home. I find that he is very responsive and attentive to his patients' needs and concerns. I am now one week post surgery and have had absolutely no complications following the general anaesthetic. In my opinion, Dr Raby exhibits all the characteristics that I was looking for in my anaesthetist. He was friendly, confident, thorough and considered in his approach. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone undergoing procedures involving general anaesthetic.
