Actually I emailed Dr Pearce after reading his BMJ article on vitamin D insufficiency. I had just discovered that my levels were low but my GP said she didnt know enough about Vit D to be able to advise me what to do. I contacted Dr Pearce telling him about my predicament and asked him what level of D supplement I should take - he responded promptly and answered most of my questions. After following his advice for 3 months my vit D is recovering well and when i reported back Dr Pearce answered promptly and gave me some more useful information for which i'm very grateful.
