I cannot fault the care and attention I have received during my ongoing treatment for breast cancer at the Churchill. From the initial diagnosis, followed by surgery, radiotherapy and the decision that I should take 'chemo' tablets, everyone involved has been - and still are- caring, helpful and positive, going out of their way to explain and discuss decisions about my treatment.
As the Oncology 'lead', with overall responsibility for my treatment these positives reflect the approach and skills displayed by Dr Dr Silva-Minor and I leave either telephone or face to face appointments feeling re-assured and knowing that my comments have been listened to and taken on board. So, very many thanks indeed to Dr De Silva-Minor and to all the staff in the Churchill Breast Cancer and Oncology Departments.
