Plan your visit well in advance: remember it will only last 15 minutes!
Write notes beforehand and read/speak/tell as quickly as you possibly can about WHY precisely you are there for.
Fix a further appointment (remember you can have a "double" lasting 30 minutes only if it is genuinely warranted. Make notes yourself during consultation to remind you of everything that has been spoken, said etc.
