Dr Sheel Mehta is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of prostate and bladder cancer. She provides treatment with image guided radiotherapy, prostate brachytherapy and systemic therapy (chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormonal therapy).
She qualified from University College London Medical School in 2010 with distinctions in Medicine and Surgery. Her oncological training was at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
She has completed diploma in Oncology as well as a prostate brachytherapy fellowship. She currently works at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and East Surrey Hospital, and continues to have a keen research interest particularly in radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
