Dr. Thompson is a lovely caring doctor who always makes to time to listen. She puts herself out to help and advise the best course of treatment. As far as I'm concerned she is an outstanding and brilliant doctor and deserves to be recognised as such. Have no hesitation in recommending her. June Press

Talking to this doctor is like talking to a brick wall. She seems completely uninterested in her patients or medicine in general. Worse doctor I've ever seen.

Saw this doctor a few months ago, I was having dizzy spells and had previously gone to the emergency walk in centre. After booking a appointment with Dr Thompson as a follow up, I found her completely unsympathetic , offering no advice or support, was like getting blood out of a stone. I suffer with my mental health and she looked at me as if I was mad. I came out of her appointment in floods of tears and no better off. Her bed side manner was awful. Definitely avoiding her in future.

I have been wanting to make people aware of this doctor and have stumbled up on this website. This doctor feels so out of touch with her patients and is unable to appreciate or empathize with feelings. She will answer her calls during her time with you and can come across rude/severely lacking in knowledge. I avoid this doctor at all costs!

This doctor is my 'named' doctor, however over the last 10 or so years I do everything I can to avoid going to her. She is not interested in listening to the patient and is only interested in either getting you out the door as quickly as she can, or diagnosing something which is the most convenient to her. e.g I was suffering for anxiety and stress and all she wanted to do was put me on anti depressants.....not listen to me and treat the root cause of my anxiety. The rest of the practice is excellent and I have got the best care from all of the other GPs, nurses and reception staff. Over all I would award the Practice 4.5 Stars....but not Dr Thompson
