I’ve been to see dr bahktar a number of times, and I must say he’s one of the best doctors I’ve seen, he listens explains things easy to you and he’s kind and considerate, I’ve been seeing him lately with anxiety that I’ve had for many years and I must say he’s helped me so much to understand this, a great dr idle medical centre well done for employing him.

Dr Bakhta I have only seen a couple of times in the past but I found him a great listener and easy to talk to. Sometimes when mental health is the issue it is not easy to discuss matters but the fact that this is an area he has studied well, allowed him to explain things in an understandable way without all the medical jargon. I was given a helpful prescription and information regarding external support. He also wanted me to make a follow up appointment to check on my progress. I just felt he took the time to absorb my concerns instead of feeling fobbed off. Would recommend his professional positive bedside manner to anyone.

As we get older I think we’re more comfortable seeing the same dr for our issues and, if you’re like me, you’re wary of the new young Dr’s... Not so with Dr Bhakta! whilst getting an appointment with Dr Bhakta isn’t easy, it’s worth the wait or annoyance of having to call thirty times at exactly opening time to get it... yes he’s young BUT, he’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. Myself and my husband couldn’t be happier finding this gem of person and Dr! Congratulations Idle Medical Centre on hiring such an asset!

I’ve been attending this surgery since I was about 10 and I’ll be 62 this year... I’ve had many different doctors over the years and a few stand outs,,, Dr Cavalier, who sadly passed away far too young and more recently, a young Dr Bhakta who has given myself and my wife some of the best care we’ve ever received,,, not just treating our medical issues, but actually taking the time to explain things... I’d been having issues with my wrists for quite some time and Dr Bhakta had the insight to refer me to Dr Bhattacharjee who took immediate action! He requested reports that had been in limbo at the hospital for some months be faxed over immediately and he diagnosed carpal tunnel in both wrists,,, within that week, he’d started treatment and has set a course of treatment I’m happy with... both of these Dr’s have shown exceptional professionalism and compassion and myself and my wife couldn’t be happier with the care we are receiving...
