Dr Cubbin is a calm and gentle person who did much outside her brief to help us. Generous with her expertise, she was also open to all our concerns and suggestions - indeed keen to learn from our own experience. She was respectful and gentle to my mother (who suffered from dementia) and was at no time patronizing or dismissive.
