I was very fortunate to be given an appointment with Dr Sally Cubbin in Nov 2020. As it was during Lockdown our appointment was via online videocall. My path to finding I had ADHD was not quite via the normal route. I had been to see a Neurologist about the possibility of me having hereditary NF2. During our discussions she felt I had ADHD. I was offered a pro bono appointment with Dr Sally Cubbin. Upon our videocall chat, my nervousness dissipated, as Dr Cubbin asked me questions, chatted to me and gave me her assessment . This was based upon questionnaires I had answered, the evidence I had provided, statements from those who knew me best and most importantly her expertise in this field. In truth both her understanding, explanation, and expertise have made me feel not only grateful to her for this appointment. But I have come to think of her as somebody who has truly saved my life. I have a far better understanding of myself, I no longer feel that I am different. I love my ADHD quirkiness and I have come to love my ADHD. If you are ever considering whether to contact Dr Cubbin, from the bottom of my heart, I recommend you see her. I am 52 years of age, I have had 49 years of not knowing that I had ADHD. My only regret is that I wish I had known sooner. However Dr Cubbin has helped to Give me back my life and also to give me a correct diagnosis. Whilst I am aware that I have lost things in life as a result of having undiagnosed ADHD. I have come away with all the tools necessary, the support and Information I needed to take control of my life and I think I am a better person for this. So once again, I would highly recommend Dr Sally Cubbin and the ADHD Clinic.
