Dr Cubbin is an absolute credit to the NHS - her and her amazing admin team are the most together group of medical professionals I have ever dealt with, which makes an enormous difference to no doubt all her patients, as people with ADHD often find navigating the bureaucracies of the NHS an absolute nightmare! I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of about 7, and I am now 26. I have seen a rotating cast of doctors who have varied immensely in quality of care etc. When I left the children's mental health service, I was worried about the quality of care I might end up with in the chronically troubled adult mental health service, and Dr Cubbin was recommended to me by my psychiatrist. I looked into private treatment and then as luck would have it was placed under Dr Cubbin's care on the NHS! After an initial in-person consultation, Covid struck, and I transitioned to Zoom care, which is really convenient for me. Dr Cubbin has always been available to talk about my treatment regimen, and is always happy to take the time to suggest tweaks to the medication regimen to allow me to flourish despite my condition. I would not have made it through university, or this far in my career without her support. She clearly cares about the quality of care she is providing, and goes to great lengths to ensure her patients are well looked after.
