After being diagnosed with a Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) in and above my right eyebrow, I was referred to Dr Hussain. I was naturally concerned regarding the diagnosis and the actual location of the BCC on my face. However, from the very first moment of speaking with Dr Hussain, he reassured me and provided me with an extremely clear outline of the options and procedures available to me. As a result, I had absolutely no hesitation whatsoever of seeing Dr Hussain and undergoing MOHS surgery at the Dermatology Surgical Unit (C4) Nuffield Health, Chapel Allerton Hospital, Leeds, West Yorkshire. During the procedure, which was carried out under local anesthetic, and in the subsequent follow up appointments, it was very apparent to me how extremely professional and incredibly skilled Dr Hussain and his team of Sister Lisa Martin, and Nurses Rose and Gina all are. They were absolutely amazing and the patient care that was demonstrated to me throughout was second to none. The MOHS procedure that I experienced and that was carried out by Dr Hussain although quite extensive, was surprisingly quite painless. During the procedure, Dr Hussain provided continuous reassurance to me and after the procedure was completed and after having the dressings subsequently removed a few days later, I was absolutely delighted with the result. The marks where the surgery took place are nowhere near what I expected them to be and they are fading very rapidly. This, in my personal opinion, is directly due to the outstanding skill, knowledge and experience of Dr Hussain. I cannot thank Dr Hussain and his team of Sister Lisa Martin, Nurses Rose and Gina highly enough. They are incredible people and amazing professionals. Thank you to you all!
