Dr Robin Chatterjee was introduced to me through BUPA due to a painful shoulder. When I first arrived in his office he greeted me with a relaxed manner which allowed me to speak to him with ease. He suggested I call him Robin and explained to me who he was and his background. This was very important to me to know who was treating me and what treatment I was to expect to help resolve my problem. Previously, I had had an MRI which showed no damage to my shoulder. Robin explained that he would like to do an Ultrasound which was arranged immediately. The results showed that I had 2 tears to my tendon and a calcium deposit. He also suggested that I have a blood test to determine why I had a the calcium deposit which was organized for the next day. At my followup appointment the following week - my blood tests were all good, I had a steroid injection in the shoulder which was guided with ultrasound support. At my request, he called my physiotherapist to confirm that he was confident with her training to support my healing. I am due for a final followup date with him after my next round of physio. I am in full support of this wholistic approach to healing and am extremely pleased that I was referred to Dr Robin Chatterjee. Without his expertise I could have continued on without the correct diagnosis and permanently damaged my shoulder. I have already told family and friends to see him.
