Firstly I would like to say that from the very first time I met Mr Bhatia at the Great Western Hospital, I found him to be a very caring and honest Gentleman. He sat and listened to the problems I was having with walking, unable to hold things for long before I lost my grip because of pains in my hands, pains in my neck ,my arms ,my left leg. I was sent for M I R scan when we got the results back I went to see Mr Bhatia at the Great Western where he explained to me what and where the problem lie. He then hold me what my options were, I agreed to having surgery and on the 13 March 2019 Mr Bhatia and his wonderful team performed a 5 hour operation on my C5/6 disc in my neck. As soon as I woke up in the recovery ward Mr Bhatia came to see me and tell me that everything had gone well. The following morning when was up on the ward and not feeling so groggy he came to see me again to make sure that I was ok and to tell me what he had done and to say I could go home later that day. Today 10/5/19 I went to the Great Western Hospital to see Mr Bhatia , I had an X ray before seeing Mr Bhatia, so he could see what was happening to my spine and if things had settled down and were healing , And they were, Mr Bhatia and I were so pleased that the operation has been a success . He is truly a wonderful gentleman, he truly cares for his patents, he listens to what you say and always gives you an honest answer and very good advice. I cannot THANK YOU AND YOUR TEAM enough for what you have done for me, I am now pain free and have my quality of life back. I would recommend that anyone who has to have surgery would be in the best, the very best hands with Mr Bhatia and his wonderful team at the Great Western Hospital they really look after you because they care. THANK YOU ALL at The Great Western Hospital Swindon .
