Dr Sutherland has helped me through about 5 MRI scans now, providing sedation because I am claustrophobic and CT scans do not show the intricate detail needed in my brain scans. He always telephones me beforehand to discuss what's needed and comes to see me in the out-patient room before the scan to discuss what's going to happen. He has a lovely bedside manner and makes you feel calm and puts you at ease.
