I was seen by Dr Sutherland in relation to an anterior cervical decompression and fusion. I produced a letter from a previous procedure which indicated that I had problems with anastethia added to that in the intervening years I had been diagnosed with sleep apnoea. During the pre operation appointment Dr Sutherland clearly explained the procedure he was going to adopt as a result of my complications. As a result of his clear explanations I was in no doubt about what was going to happen during the anaesthetic part of my procedure which in turn took away a lot of the worry as Dr Surherland made it clear that the procedure adopted was primarily for my safety.
True to his word the procedure went well and thankfully I have no recollection of it.
Thoroughly professional individual who is obviously at the top of his profession.
