I was very nervous about having my op, it was the first in 24 years. The minute I met Dr Sutherland I felt at ease right away. Spoke with him the week before the op and knew exactly what was going to happen when I went in, which helps me a lot. He came to see me after in the ward to confirm everything went well. Like previous comments, I hope I don't need another op but if I did I would certainly hope it would be Dr Sutherland who would be looking after me in theatre.
