Does not know anything about anxiety disorder or OCD. Nor unipolar depression, because she gives people higher dose antipsychotics, when only small doses should be used for these illnesses. So you basically feel like a zombie trying to look after your baby, then the staff think it’s your illness and continue to patronise you. In the weekly review meetings, there’s just a bunch of unqualified people there, with Gupta, all staring at you with blank faces, while you are talking. None of them have anything useful to say when you’ve finished.. Gupta then says ‘we’ll increase the dose’ see you next week. I had more psychological problems coming out of the mother and baby unit than I had when I went in. Due to the treatment. Outpatient just as bad.
