Richard has been our son's designated consultant after he was born at 27 weeks gestation, over 2 years ago. Myself and my husband have a huge amount of respect for Richard as we have found the care he provided and directed for our son, Mylo, was and continues to be superb. I found Richard to be clear and honest with us throughout Mylo's neonatal journey, ensuring that we were kept fully up to date with progress and issues. He has shown warmth and kindness to us and has never appeared disinterested in our thoughts and feelings. During each clinic visit that Mylo attends at Solihull Hospital Richard takes notice of everything I tell him and any issues/concerns I have are treated with respect and understanding. Richard has shown interest in how Mylo is developing since being discharged from the neonatal unit and it is with genuine interest that he is asking about Mylo's development.
