Doctor Richard looked our little boy right from the moment he was born, until he left neonatal intensive care, Richard looked after him for 16 weeks, and really shared such a lovely bond with him, and us parents too. He made us smile each day, when times were so tough. This man is a real hero, and our nicu journey would not have been the same without him! He is always smiling, always positive and when we felt at our worse, he could always bring a smile on our faces. This is not just a job for Richard.. he is so passionate, and cares for his patients with his whole heart! As a parent, having someone like Richard really helped us during some really dark situations and he made us feel so safe and he cared for our baby boy so much! He even gave him his own nickname and they shared some wonderful times I will never forget Thank you so much Richard, I will never be able to thank you enough for everything. You will always hold a place in our hearts personally and you are a credit to the hospital.
