I fell and fractured my hip and entered hospital June 25th, 2021. My surgeon was Dr. Hassan and he took great care to explain the various options available to me including drawing a diagram of my hip. I opted for a total hip replacement and was operated on first thing June 26th. The operation was successful and I was discharged from hospital 6 days later. The service I received from all departments at all times was really outstanding and I considered myself very fortunate to have found such professionals looking after me. I went for my first checkup today in the Fracture Clinic and once again saw Dr. Hassan. I was extremely impressed as he spent quite some time listening to me, answering the various questions I had (I had taken in a list!) and examining me and my x-rays to my satisfaction. He gave me some long term advice which I intend to follow up and I came away from the appointment completely satisfied. Dr. Hassan is an extremely professional surgeon, with a charming demeanour who displays great care towards his patients.
