Dr Priya Kumar

Dr Priya Kumar qualified as a Consultant Paediatrician in 2010 specialising in general paediatrics and paediatric diabetes. She currently works in Ealing Hospital for her outpatient clinics and looks after children with diabetes from the Ealing Borough.She is passionate in empowering children and young people in motivational skills for self care. Dr Kumar does her ED/general paediatric shifts in Northwick Park Hospital. Both are part of the London North West University Hospital NHS Trust. She is one of the named doctors for safeguarding children. Currently Dr Kumar is also Divisional Clinical Director of the Paediatric Department of LNWUHT. She works closely with the children's commissioners of Brent and Harrow and tertiary centre colleagues to advocate for paediatric services so the child and young person is seen at the right pace at the right time.
