Like the other reviewers before me of Dr. Preeti Shah I cannot praise or thank her enough. I also had the privilege of attending her rheumatology clinic for a condition of weakness in my joints. She carried many and thorough tests including a bank of blood tests in the beginning and a conclusion and treatment have reached .
What I do want to share with others though is that when I went to the first consultation with her I was nervous about the blood test results as I have over the years been drinking too much and thought this may be a problem. However instead of a lecture Dr. Shah explained that my liver count was OK but that was the least of my problems as alcoholism could very likely cause dementia. I felt terrible that I could this to myself and my family. I had already vowed to change things but with her support I have now reached the point where if I fancy a glass of wine now and then that's ok but I don't default to it every evening. I am so very grateful that she did not judge me and made me see the facts. I hold my head high thanks to Dr Shah.
