I had been struggling with debilitating fatigue for 3 years without a proper diagnosis when I spoke to Dr Shah. I was at a really low point, had been bed bound for several weeks with my mental/emotional health really fragile. I was despairing of ever getting any better. She listened carefully to how I had been (I rambled at great length!) and asked some really pertinent questions that helped me to see the underlying traumas that had resulted in my complete loss of faith in my own body and mind - and how that had manifested in the very severe physical symptoms I was experiencing. I am now on the path to recovery, feeling a lot of hope, learning to trust in my body again and addressing the deep wounds that led me to this place, finding a lot of healing in the journey. It is slow but steady, and I am so grateful that I was listened to and reassured and most of all given hope in what felt like an extremely scary situation.
