I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in October 2021. It was picked up very early so i was given a choice of treatment - either surgical removal or radiotherapy both would go for cure.
I was not keen on either as my father went through radiotherapy 20 years ago and it wasn't pleasant for him. I went to see Dr Das with a closed mind on radiotherapy. But when I explained how i felt about radiotherapy and the aftereffects he completely calmed my fears by offering a new radiotherapy treatment that was very efficient and accurately targeted the cancer. He explained that the treatment would only be 5 sessions and that I could continue with my life as normal. There was no prolonged recovery times.
I can honestly say this has been the case. The PSA count is now down to zero. I will see Dr Das at regular 3 monthly intervals for a time but what he told me about how the treatment would work out was all spot on, I am carrying on with my life as normal.
The advice nad care was exceptional.
