I was operated on to remove a tumour from my testicle in June 2012. There had been a delay in diagnosis, followed by complications post op and it was the assertive approach of Dr Chakraborti that meant that the course of chemotherapy was started promptly.
We were impressed by him telling us that he and other specialists confer on the course of treatment for patients. This meant that both his expertise and experience, and that from fellow oncologists is brought to the treatment decision.
Dr Chakraborti continued to see me every 3 months, then every 6 months for consultation following routine tests, and I have just been discharged after 7 years.
Mr Chakraborti is not one for small talk, and when I first met him my wife was very worried and he commented on that. 7 years later I am still here so we are very grateful. Thank you Dr Chakraborti.
