Dr Poonamallee Govindaraj

We brought our son to see Dr Govindaraj due to a longstanding night time cough. We have had our son at the GP several times as the frequency of his night coughs would alarm any parent, only to be brushed off with no treatment or follow up. Dr Govindaraj listened to our concerns and followed up with additional questions and an assessment of our son, gave a likely prognosis and an immediate course of treatment His manner with our son was also fantastic. As a 2yo boy who is a little nervous around new people he quickly warmed to Dr Govindaraj which helped with the assessment.

Very friendly, professional approach. We always felt like we were being listened to. Also, a thorough examination and report was provided.

It was such a pleasure to meet Dr Govindaraj when I took my teenage son for a consultation. He put us all at ease straight away and was so helpful and informative about my son's diagnosis and next steps. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any patient.

Dr Govindaraj has to one of the best doctors we have ever seen in this country. Very friendly and very knowledgeable and we felt confident and at ease after speaking to him about our baby.

Dr. P Govindaraj was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He arrived at the appointment already fully aware of my daughters difficult birth, medical history etc He took the time to take note of every single one of my worries across two sheets of a4 paper. He then proceeded to address them and ‘tick them off’ one by one. He took my concerns seriously and understood where my anxieties and worries came from. He answered every single question I had for him and throughly checked my baby over as I felt that we had been rushed out of hospital following her birth. I left the appointment feeling at ease and I felt that nothing was too much trouble for him. We were not rushed at all during our appointment. He also took the time to send me more information via email about my child’s allergies which I had not been provided by NHS staff. I would 100% recommend seeing this Doctor.

Dr Poonamallee Govindaraj did a great job of both listening and asking relevant and detailed questions during the consultation with my daughter. Similarly having read the report he prepared for my daughters GP, he did a great job of providing the detail and explaining his diagnosis. He also had a warm personality and made both my daughter and myself at ease during the consultation.
