I had a total knee replacement this morning and had the great privilege of seeing the whole thing on a TV screen. This incredible experience was made more so by the extreme care , respect and dignity afforded to me by Dr. Philip Das, Mr. Clifton and a wonderful team. Dr.Das ensured I was comfortable, informed me of each step of the procedure (both in the anaesthetic area and in theatre) and answered my questions fully. He also demonstrated empathy with his junior anaesthetist. I would recommend Dr. Das, unreservedly, for his professionalism and for being an absolute gentleman.
