Dr Das explained the procedure of spinal anaesthetic in great detail and inspired confidence with his knowledge and excellent bedside manner. He also offered me a sedative which he said he would give me at any time during the operation. I did have a mild sedative and although drowsy did not fall asleep and was therefore alert soon after the operation. Dr Das came to visit me the day after the operation to check everything was as it should be which I greatly appreciated. An excellent anaesthetist.
