Dr Collins listens carefully to his patients and does not hesitate to review or change his prognosis if new events occur.
He is very cautious and shares his evaluation with the child and the parents.
He makes sure the child feels safe and secure and is very understanding when they don’t always act as expected.

I am a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist who works in the adolescent mental health service (LYPs) at Lewisham CAMHS, London.
I work full-time for South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation trust.
I have worked as a full-time consultant in the service since 2005.
I am also the clinical lead for Quality Improvement across SLaM CAMHS directorate.
