This was my first appt with Dr Worth, regarding Parkinson’s Disease.I attended with my wife, and we were both very impressed with the way the consultation was conducted. I had had a few appointments with other consultant neurologists, who had been quite unhelpful. Dr Worth listened attentively to us, making thorough notes, while also explaining clearly why a change in my medication was advisable, and the reasons for this. He also made a succinct note of my past medical history, which is quite involved. He had a cheerful demeanour, and quickly put us at ease. I understand that his NHS and private clinics are extremely busy, and we had been warned in advance that he would not be able to ‘take me on’ as a patient. However, at the end of our 45 minute consultation, he reassured us that he would be seeing us again. This was such a relief that it brought tears to our eyes! After about 5 years of poor and infrequent care from other physicians, Dr Worth was a very welcome breath of fresh air. I’m a retired doctor and feel Dr Worth is a real credit to our profession.
