I have been a patient of Dr. Dempsey for some months due to ongoing respiratory problems following repeated episodes of pneumonia/chest infections. Dr. Dempsey epitomises all that a patient wants in a physician. Firstly professional and technical competence of the highest order. Secondly a willingness to listen to the patient and a superb "bedside manner". Thirdly a great ability to explain to the patient what is wrong, what the prognosis is, what the best treatment is and whatever "downsides" that treatment may have. I now know that I have bronchial hypersensitivity/ asthma consequent on my previous infections and am on an inhaler which works well. I cannot thank him enough for his attention and if your chart had gone further than 5 stars I would have been happy to mark him higher.
