This consultant was disinterested from the outset of my appointment. He didn't listen to me describing my symptoms, and he kept interrupting me, even sometimes "moving me along" like he was using the fast forward button on a remote control. He treated me like he had something better to do, and all the time making me feel like he didn't believe what I was telling him - despite several other doctors and consultants having witnessed first hand the as yet unexplained physical symptoms of whatever is going on with my body. He then further went on to add insult to injury by stating that he thought my symptoms were psychological - despite me physically shaking when I walk, and most of the time in extreme pain. His follow up letter following the MRI was the totality of two sentences, both as dismissive as his entire attitude during the one hour of my appointment. My GP and rheumatology consultant are absolutely disgusted with his lack of professionalism, and furthermore absence of clinical diagnostic notes. I am now back in the neurology waiting list again, hopefully to see a different consultant, as whilst my rheumatologist admits there are some elements of my complex illness that are related to physical damage, there as yet remains unexplained elements that must be neurological and/or nerve related. I can only presume the others on this site that have had a different experience with this doctor have either gone on one of his good days, he found them attractive, or they are indeed fake reviews. When talking to one of his other patients in the waiting room, they thought he was either on the autistic spectrum, or had multiple personalities - but in my experience, I neither received a professional standard of care nor compassion, and regardless of whatever is going on with this doctor, he should not be treating patients like this. Absolutely disgraceful.
