During my first visit to see Dr Latif, I was more than impressed. As soon as I walked in he stood up out of his chair and came to greet me with a warm handshake and asked me to take a seat, not only me but my relative who was accompanying. As I was crying all through the visit, he asked me why I was crying. No-one had asked me that question before, so I told him that I was fed up with the other doctors in the practice ringing my chemist to change my medication without telling me. He apologised straight away for this and then asked me what did I want to do. I told him I wanted to come off the anti-depressant and the sleeping tablet, he said it would take time and would rather leave me on my medication for a while then to make another appointment for in a months time. Somehow, I have a lot of faith in Dr Latif and I feel together him listening to me and vice-versa, I will eventually be able to take less medication.
