I’m not sure why your thinking of seeing Dr Nuri. I went to her because I was looking for an expert in trauma and complex PTSD after being frustrated that locally I was getting no answers for what I was experiencing. I’ve been experiencing this stuff for 15 years.
For years I’ve experienced symptoms I’ve never been able to explain or find a way forward for and today I met a most incredible clinician who read me from the moment I entered the room.
She was able not only to give me a diagnosis and treatment plan but give me solid practical advise on how to find freedom after years of living half a life in some kind of weird world of complex PTSD. It was a 5 hour journey back from London. Every minute was worth it to find someone who understood, who actually got it and was able to offer a way forward.
Today i am moved beyond words. She listened. She read me. She was sensitive and at the same time not afraid to tell me the challenge I faced.
