Nuri is a god-send. Having the opportunity to work with her has changed my life to the extent that I could say has saved it. She is unbelievably smart and sensitive. She is present, kind, non judgemental. She is patient beyond measure and has worked at my pace. After years of seeing therapists that couldn’t help me help myself I found her and everything has changed. There is no way I could have found my way without her. Normally I wouldn’t review but I can’t read the bad review written here without saying something in defence. I am thinking the person who wrote it was unable to open themselves to the process and i’m really sorry that their experience was bad because that is not my experience at all. I hope people don’t read it and take it into consideration. If you have a chance to work with her - grab it.

I’m not sure why your thinking of seeing Dr Nuri. I went to her because I was looking for an expert in trauma and complex PTSD after being frustrated that locally I was getting no answers for what I was experiencing. I’ve been experiencing this stuff for 15 years. For years I’ve experienced symptoms I’ve never been able to explain or find a way forward for and today I met a most incredible clinician who read me from the moment I entered the room. She was able not only to give me a diagnosis and treatment plan but give me solid practical advise on how to find freedom after years of living half a life in some kind of weird world of complex PTSD. It was a 5 hour journey back from London. Every minute was worth it to find someone who understood, who actually got it and was able to offer a way forward. Today i am moved beyond words. She listened. She read me. She was sensitive and at the same time not afraid to tell me the challenge I faced.

Terrible psychiatrist struggled so much with mental health gave me a diagnosis of trauma and said would see me waited 3 months for her to decide not to. Very keen to do assessment at £450 but when it came to actually treating me not interested and didn't know another psychiatrist who could- was so distraught as she was my last hope. had to find my own treatment and just prolonged my condition. Also put in assessment report things hat were not true and refused to take them out.
