Dr Ahmad is an outstanding doctor on all fronts. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and respectful. He takes time to be understanding and thorough, and then to give feedback and recommendations, pitched to my level of understanding, based on his medical knowledge, my level of functioning, and my needs and wishes - a complex balancing act.
As I enter seniority, my medical issues are added too, some more urgent, some maintenance, but he oversees them all. Somehow, amazingly, he manages all this despite the oppression of NHS bureaucracy and the tick-box, goals and quotas, managerial nonsense it has become.
I have the greatest admiration and thanks for him - his patients are truly fortunate.
