We used this doctor for my mum who had her initial treatment overseas. Found that it was always too hard to get hold of her and considering she treats cancer patients where time is critical this was poor. Her follow up wasn't great and where she is required to organise further referral left mostly to secretary and did not hear from her often. While she was obviously being a realist without giving false hope it seems in poor form to leave a patient on their own merit when there is no further treatment option
She spent a lot of time with me at the outset explaining the treatment, the options, side effects etc. Since then she is in regular contact to keep an eye on progress and always answers any questions and reassures. I am very pleased to be under her care.
Dr Anyanemene is an excellent Oncologist with very good relationships with patients and staff.
This doctor does not behave like a caring doctor at all. She doesn't listen, doesn't give hope and doesn't seem interested in cure.
To improve? Act like a doctor - communicate better, be kinder, and make us at least believe you wanted to cure my father. He died, from the illness this doctor was meant to treat, and for the last few months of his life, did not have any contact from this doctor.
