Dr Nicholas Peat is the Co-Founding Director of Uniquely Created Nutrition and Health Ltd and has expertise in nutrition and lifestyle medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and an undergraduate tutor and examiner for the University of Cambridge. In October 2014 the Care Quality Commission acknowledged his “Outstanding Practice” for a novel project he began which helped patients better understand their medical results and in July 2015 Dr Peat was shortlisted to win the Patient Safety Awards for Improving Safety and Quality in Primary Care. He is a former Medical Advisor to doctors.net.uk, the largest network of doctors in the UK with over 200,000 members. Most recently Dr Peat developed a Student Selected Component, which is a compulsory part of UK medical school training, in Human Nutrition for the University of Cambridge.
