The surgery has gone down hill in recent years. I would not reccomend this surgery to anyone. Trying to get a doctor is a complete nightmare. The receptionist try to palm you off to a nurse instead. You cant get to see who you ask for and when you have a few long term health issues going on this is no use. You cant get to see a family doctor any longer that knows you inside out. By the time you explain all your conditions to a different doctor who knows nothing about you its time to leave. Time is up! I have been told numerous times when walking in the door your appointment is only ten mins long.. hello to you too !! Let me at least sit down. I am looking to move surgery after being with them since i was 3 years old. My own doctor Dr mannis has now left and this has really had a major affect on me he never rushed anyone out the door and took his time to make a diagnosis and if he didnt know he would make sure he found out or refereed to a hospital. The doctors that are left are no where near as kind and caring as he was. Its all about time now . My last 2 visits have not been very helpful in the slightest.. I try not to visit now unless i really need too. I just feel they dont listen and always watching the clock. Bring back Dr mannis . He is so very missed. The patients he now looks after are very very lucky indeed. Can i also add that some receptinist staff are very rude and higher grade staff i have witnessed in the waiting room coming out to front desk really have no people skills very unfortunate manner. Again the appointment system has not been addressed making people wait till midnight to go online to try book is an absolute joke. Some people work and are up before 6am.. unreasonable to ask people to try at that time then most occasions no appointments on.. just what you need right before going to sleep even more stress. I have made this point in the box and its been ignored yet again. All in all the surgery is not managed well at all. Its very sad how the surgery has become to have a bad reputation now. Doctors need to listen more and stop watching the clock. This is peoples lives we are talking about. Lets hope they take note if they want peoples opion of them to change
