Went in for an ADHD assessment, relatively anxious. Dr was attentive, was able to express myself openly and honestly, in a way that allowed me to feel safe enough that i felt my nerves calm quick enough. I am a big fan of a direct style of conversation, good news bad news, given in a clear concise manner. I feel like that either that was picked up on quick, or he happened to have a kind of personality that works with mine. Probably helped that I tend to ask questions in these scenarios. Was able to speak openly about concerns and given, what was from my perspective, relatively balanced responses. I've had experiences in the past where doctors would project their own perspective on to the conversation. This didn't feel like that. Felt more like the Dr was considering what i had to say, and responding based on what he thought might be helpful for that sort of thing. Even in places where he had information that was different than my own, he explained in a way that addressed underlying concerns rather than throwing a full stop on the point. Overall would recommencer
