I just wanted to thank Dr Rawala for helping my 21-year-old daughter in the last few months. From a bright, academic student at school, she was struggling to make sense of University, unable to complete her work and was at risk of dropping out. Dr Rawala explained to us how ADHD presents in females, and diagnosed our daughter with ADHD, although the first medicine did not work and we felt more worried, he was able to reassure and alleviate our anxieties as a family. He worked with us and we found the right medicine and dose titration which led to our daughter regaining her confidence and flourishing once more. Thank you for all your reassurance and for understanding ADHD presentations and treatments in women.

I specifically chose Dr Rawala as when searching for ADHD specialists online, I came across his talks on the varying presentation of ADHD in women and the effect of hormonal changes. I decided to wait for an appointment with him even though could have had it elsewhere sooner. He is just amazing! He immediately put me at ease, his interview style was professional and made me open up about things which I may not have with most others. He has extensive knowledge around ADHD, provided me with appendices with his report and also alerted my GP to a medication I was taking which could make my executive function worse. During my medication titration, I felt safe and he does not just advocate medication, he made a holistic plan about my care l, looking at probiotics, hormonal checks , nutrients and diet, probiotics because I asked about it and surprisingly sent me resources around ADHD and it's effect on my relationship. Not only is my ADHD sorted, my relationship is back on track too.

Dr Rawala was extremely helpful with my diagnosis of ADHD. He made it very clear that he understood the differences of ADHD between males and females - a huge relief considering that the reason I hadn't been diagnosed as a child was because I didn't fit the stereotypical criteria of 'disruptive and misbehaving'. He helped me understand the condition in more depth and highlighted the differences in being diagnosed as an adult rather than as a child. He has also provided excellent resources to assist me in the future. I felt he listened to my concerns and addressed them, and at no point in either of our discussions did I feel rushed or as if I hadn't been taken seriously. He also explained the possible interference my PTSD could have with my treatment (something I hadn't previously considered). Overall very satisfied with my care and would recommend Dr Rawala to anyone seeking his services.

Dr Rawala has such great insight into women with ADHD, which put me at ease straight away during my consultation. I was brought up in another country, therefore I went through a different schooling system, and this Dr Rawala could see my struggles. He speaks very clearly and I could follow him through even when I was nervous. His suggestions on treatment are also quite effective, and has worked wonders on me. I would recommend Dr Rawala to everybody, especially females who are worried about seeking help, as he has such a great understanding of women with ADHD.
