My son was struggling with worsening depression and our GP practice was unable to diagnose or provide medication. Access to CAMHS without a diagnosis would have meant weeks of anxious waiting without any certainty of outcome. I searched for a local psychiatrist and came across Dr Monica Shaha. My son was seen within days, and was given a very extensive consultation along with a detailed report, diagnosis and suggested medication. He has received excellent follow up care and support. Dr Monica Shaha is a very understanding, caring and professional person, and she immediately made my son feel at ease. I would highly recommend her.
